Corporate Administrator

About the role

Apex Group, a fund administration and middle office solutions provider founded in Bermuda in 2003, is looking for a Corporate Administrator. The role covers preparation of management accounts and financial statements, liaison with auditors, tax computations and overall responsibility for client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts on a monthly, quarterly and ad hoc basis after completing bookkeeping in the software.
• Prepare annual financial statements in line with IFRS for audit and filing with the statutory authority, at the frequency required by clients.
• Liaise with auditors to ensure audits are completed on time.
• Prepare tax computations in line with the Mauritius Income Tax Laws.
• Handle overall responsibility for client relationships, inquiries and meetings.

Required profile

• Around 1-2 years of accounting working experience.
• ACCA qualified, partly qualified or any equivalent qualification.
• Excellent time and organisational skills to meet tight deadlines; a hard worker ready to put in extra hours.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Organised, accurate, willing to learn and take on new tasks, and a team player.
