Cost Controller

About the role

The Cost Controller will monitor, analyse and control costs across the resort to ensure efficient resource use and adherence to budgets. You will work closely with finance, procurement, stores and F&B teams to provide accurate financial reporting and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily operational costs, analyse variances against budgets and standards, and prepare regular cost reports.
• Conduct physical stock counts, reconcile inventory, and investigate discrepancies.
• Review purchase orders, invoices and supplier pricing to ensure accuracy and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Calculate and monitor food and beverage costs, analyse recipe costs, portion sizes and wastage.
• Prepare variance analysis, support monthly closing procedures and assist with internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in cost control, accounting, finance or inventory management, preferably in hospitality.
• Good knowledge of inventory and cost‑control procedures.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting or inventory management systems.
