Hostess – Guest Service Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at our restaurant. You will create a welcoming atmosphere, manage seating arrangements, and keep guests informed while they wait for their tables or take‑out orders.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, escort them to tables, and present menus.
• Manage reservations, waiting lists, and estimate wait times.
• Coordinate with dining room staff to ensure prompt and courteous service.
• Maintain cleanliness of serving stations, menus, and guest areas.
• Offer aperitifs, upsell beach dinners and other outlets, and collect guest feedback.
• Handle cash receipts, process payments, and verify end‑of‑shift sales.
• Ensure availability of children’s activities, umbrellas, reading lights, shawls, and other guest amenities.

Required profile

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve complaints calmly.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Cash handling and basic POS operation.
