Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the People agenda for our Mauritius team. The role partners closely with local leaders and the global People team, overseeing employee experience, HR operations, compliance, and talent processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with Mauritian labour law across contracts, working time, leave, terminations and disciplinary procedures.
• Partner with local leadership to shape employee experience, organise engagement events and act as a trusted point of contact for staff.
• Align local HR processes with global policies, manage the end‑to‑end employee lifecycle, and support payroll and benefits administration.
• Support recruitment, talent reviews, performance cycles and career development initiatives.
• Provide HR data for group reporting, identify trends in engagement, retention and performance, and advise leadership.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of experience as an HR generalist, HR Business Partner or similar role, preferably in an international, multicultural environment.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of Mauritian labour law and HR compliance requirements.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal skills, autonomous and proactive, with ability to work with limited on‑ground HR support.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
