Junior KYC/AML Analyst (Spanish speaking)

About the role

Citco is seeking a Junior KYC/AML Analyst to join its Central KYC Team within the Corporate Solutions division. The role supports client onboarding and ongoing due‑diligence activities, ensuring compliance with anti‑money‑laundering, know‑your‑customer and regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and verify KYC documentation for new and existing clients.
• Perform identity checks, ultimate beneficial ownership analysis and risk assessments.
• Screen clients against sanctions and politically exposed person (PEP) lists.
• Communicate with Spanish‑speaking clients to obtain required documentation and clarifications.
• Maintain accurate, audit‑ready records in internal systems and digital KYC files.
• Assist in the approval process for high‑risk clients according to Citco policies.
• Investigate alerts from sanctions and PEP screening, liaise with local compliance officers, and prepare regular progress and KPI reports.
• Support audit and inspection queries and stay updated on regulatory changes.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in KYC, AML or related compliance functions.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); Spanish fluency is advantageous.
• Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
