Laundry Attendant – Resort Hospitality

About the role

The Laundry Attendant ensures that all guest and staff uniforms are clean, well‑maintained, and ready for use at Four Seasons Resort Mauritius. Working on‑site, you will support the uniform service team by handling daily laundry cycles, basic repairs, and inventory tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Report to shift on time and notify the Supervisor or Duty Manager promptly if unable to attend.
• Place all uniforms on the uniform carousel each day and issue clean garments to staff members.
• Receive used uniforms for dry‑cleaning, laundry, and pressing, and track their status.
• Inspect the work area for repair needs and perform simple garment repairs.
• Assist the Seamstress with fitting, issuing, and inventory of uniforms for new employees.
• Hand over damaged garments to the Seamstress for reporting and investigation.
• Support quarterly uniform inventory checks to ensure adequate size availability across departments.

Required profile

• Reliability and punctuality for shift coverage.
• Attention to detail when handling uniforms and recording inventory.
• Ability to follow company policies and care‑label instructions.
• Willingness to assist the Seamstress and collaborate with other departments.
