Maintenance Technician – Pest Control

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician specialized in pest control, you will safeguard guest comfort and protect hotel assets by detecting, treating, and preventing pest infestations across rooms, public areas, kitchens, and gardens.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, kitchens, and gardens to identify pest activity.
• Apply approved sprays, baits, and traps safely, following all regulatory guidelines.
• Seal cracks, gaps, and other entry points to prevent future infestations.
• Maintain accurate logs of chemicals used and ensure all products are securely stored away from guests.
• Assess structural vulnerabilities and provide preventative recommendations to management.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent; technical vocational training is a plus.
• Valid local Pest Control Operator license or specialized certification in pesticide handling (highly preferred).
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, crawl into tight spaces, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
