About the role

Constance Le Chaland, a luxury hotel on the south-eastern coast of Mauritius, is looking for a Night Receptionist. The role covers the night shift at the front desk, welcoming guests and handling reservations and enquiries.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide a warm and friendly reception to guests on arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and addressing immediate needs.
  • Maintain clear and courteous communication with guests, colleagues and stakeholders by in-person, phone and email.
  • Oversee the accurate processing of guest reservations, updates and special requests using property management systems.
  • Act as a main point of contact for guests during their stay, resolving issues and giving personalised recommendations.

Required profile

  • Demonstrated background in a hotel, hospitality or customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally across different channels.
  • Proactive, positive attitude and attention to detail in service delivery.
  • Willingness to work weekends, public holidays and varying shifts.
