About the role

RIU Hotels & Resorts is hiring a Hostess for its restaurant in Le Morne, Mauritius. The role is central to the guest experience and operational excellence, and suits someone with a passion for leadership and luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

  • Receive and record guests' reservations and assign tables.
  • Greet guests at the entrance of the dining room, restaurant or lounge and escort them to their seats.
  • Speak with guests and report complaints to the restaurant manager, ensuring satisfaction with food and service.
  • Coordinate the activities of food and beverage servers and other serving staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

  • Relevant hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Minimum HSC education.
  • A third language is an advantage.

Required skills

  • Good guest communication skills.
