Room Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Room Attendant ensures that guest rooms are impeccably cleaned, stocked and ready for arrival, delivering the high‑standard hospitality experience expected at a luxury resort.

Key responsibilities

• Remove and replace all linen, ensuring it is clean, undamaged and correctly presented.
• Clear trash, personal items and replace bathroom amenities after each guest departure.
• Fulfil additional guest requests such as extra beds, amenities or loaned items.
• Inspect and report on the condition of electrical appliances, door locks, blackout curtains, water temperature, plumbing and other technical features.
• Maintain pantry and trolley stock, adhere to dress and conduct codes, and manage key sign‑in/out procedures.
• Monitor trainee progress and communicate updates to the Housekeeping supervisor.
• Follow all health, safety, fire‑alarm and emergency procedures, reporting hazards or incidents promptly.
• Promote energy‑efficiency and environmental initiatives in line with the Green Globe policy.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional training or certificates are a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Excellent organisational ability and strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to resolve guest queries and complaints politely and efficiently.
• Fluency in English (additional language skills are advantageous).
• Good time‑management and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Use of industrial cleaning equipment and products.
• Knowledge of housekeeping policies, procedures and standards.
