Senior Accountant (IFRS & Consolidations)

About the role

Axian Group Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead the preparation of complex group accounts under IFRS. Reporting to the Group Chief of Accounts/IFRS Manager, the role combines technical accounting work with team support and mentorship.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements for Axian Group Holding Companies in accordance with IFRS.
• Produce timely management accounts for the holding companies.
• Reconcile inter‑company balances monthly and establish robust reconciliation processes.
• Implement and optimise accounting systems across the group.
• Compute tax liabilities, monitor tax regimes, and ensure correct application of taxes and levies.
• Prepare and file annual tax returns, quarterly APS returns, and monthly/annual TDS returns within statutory deadlines.
• Assist auditors during fieldwork and address queries related to financial statement finalisation.
• Coordinate, coach, and train junior team members.

Required profile

• Accounting degree or substantial progress toward ACCA, ACA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with an audit firm background.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
