Senior Analyst – Financial Statement Preparation Outsourcing

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Analyst to lead the preparation of complex financial statements and manage detailed markup processes for our outsourcing clients. The role involves ensuring compliance with international accounting standards while supporting junior team members in data compilation and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complex financial statements in line with IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Conduct self‑reviews to guarantee statement quality and regulatory adherence.
• Monitor budgets and timelines, escalating issues to management as needed.
• Identify client needs, propose initial solutions, and communicate them to the manager.
• Maintain compliance with Risk & Compliance, GDPR, and Data Protection Act requirements.
• Update project reports, SLA and KPI metrics regularly.
• Handle ad‑hoc assignments and escalations according to reporting lines.

Required profile

• Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) with accounting as the main subject or partially ACCA qualified.
• 1–2 years of experience in audit or accounting.
• Experience preparing financial statements; familiarity with CaseWare is a plus.
