Senior Executive Officer (SEO) – Financial Services

About the role

We are looking for a senior financial‑services professional to take on the Senior Executive Officer (SEO) position. The SEO will own the full P&L, drive sustainable growth, and ensure rigorous governance within the Mauritius financial‑services ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing sales and advisory team.
• Own commercial performance, revenue generation, cost management and overall profitability.
• Manage end‑to‑end P&L, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Develop annual business plans, revenue forecasts and financial targets in partnership with the CEO and Board.
• Monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions and build a performance‑driven sales culture.
• Design and execute strategies for client acquisition, retention and market expansion.
• Strengthen relationships with HNW/UHNW clients, family offices and institutional investors.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Operations and Finance to maintain governance standards.
• Provide senior leadership on investment‑advisory propositions, emphasizing value‑investing and long‑term capital preservation.

Required profile

• Established senior professional in financial services with commercial credibility and regulatory understanding.
• Strong knowledge of FSC Mauritius regulations.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA, or equivalent.
• Recent exposure to the Mauritius financial‑services ecosystem.
• Demonstrated leadership maturity and ability to assume broader executive responsibilities.
