Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst to support our Global Head of Risk and Compliance and the Senior Risk and Compliance Manager. The role provides regional compliance assistance for our UAE office and contributes to group‑wide risk and compliance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive reviews and risk assessments for new business applications, prepare presentations for the Client Committee and circulate meeting minutes.
• Provide guidance on adverse reports and perform ad‑hoc screening.
• Maintain and update standard compliance registers and monthly compliance calendars.
• Review Politically Exposed Person (PEP) applications, secure senior management approval and keep the PEP register current.
• Assist in updating AML procedures and support Business Risk Assessment exercises for the relevant entity.
• Ensure internal portal (Davi) documentation is up to date and support staff training initiatives.
• Perform any additional compliance‑related tasks as directed by senior risk and compliance leadership.

Required profile

• First degree in Law, Law and Management, Finance with Law or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant professional compliance qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in compliance or risk management.
