About the role
The Senior Treasury Back Office Officer is responsible for applying best‑practice techniques to mitigate market, credit and operational risks within treasury functions, while ensuring accurate and timely processing of treasury transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Authorize treasury deals and approve regulatory returns within deadlines.
- Maintain accurate booking, compute and monitor Cash Reserve Ratio, and manage static data.
- Perform daily reconciliations of Nostro accounts, FX positions and follow up on unreconciled items.
- Monitor internal and regulatory limits, reporting any breaches to senior management.
- Support process automation, respond to regulatory and audit queries, and participate in system enhancement projects.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of relevant treasury/back‑office experience.
- Degree in Finance/Accounting or partially qualified ACCA/CIMA; ACI Market Operations Certificate is a plus.
- Strong analytical, planning and time‑management abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office tools.
- Good knowledge of SWIFT messaging.
