Trader on International Exchanges

About the role

The Trader will provide brokerage services by executing client transactions on international exchanges, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute client trades accurately and efficiently across global markets, adhering to best execution standards.
• Maintain prompt and accurate trade records and supporting documentation.
• Monitor live markets and client positions, taking timely action and escalating issues as needed.
• Provide continuous desk coverage through a rotating shift system to match global market hours.
• Liaise directly with clients, delivering market updates and handling high‑value, time‑sensitive requests.
• Coordinate with custodians, counterparties, and internal teams to ensure timely settlement and mitigate operational risks.
• Identify and communicate trading opportunities to clients when appropriate.
• Contribute to the desk’s revenue and operational goals while upholding execution quality and risk management.
• Perform end‑of‑day reconciliations, ensuring all trades are captured and matched with internal systems and counterparties.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least one year of experience in financial markets.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA or CISI are a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Discipline, patience and flexibility to operate in volatile markets.
• High commitment to customer service and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to work shift schedules and handle intense pressure with tight deadlines.
