Accounts and Payroll Supervisor – Hospitality

About the role

The Accounts and Payroll Supervisor will oversee daily accounting operations and manage the full payroll cycle for all hotel staff at Constance Le Chaland. This position ensures accurate financial records, compliance with regulations, and timely payroll processing in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily accounting activities, including journal entries, ledger posting, and account reconciliations.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank and balance‑sheet accounts, and support month‑end and year‑end closings.
• Prepare and review management accounts, financial reports, and budgeting/forecasting analyses.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and applicable financial procedures.
• Oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing, verifying attendance, overtime, leave, allowances, deductions and benefits.
• Maintain payroll records, prepare statutory returns, and ensure adherence to labour, tax and social security regulations.
• Respond to payroll queries, resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with HR and external auditors.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional accounting or payroll certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of accounting/payroll experience in the hotel or luxury resort sector.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to handle confidential information.
• Fluent English (written and verbal); additional language skills are advantageous.
