Manager – Client Accounting

About the role

The Manager – Client Accounting will be the primary point of contact for complex client matters, ensuring high‑quality, accurate, and timely delivery of accounting services. The role involves coaching team members, maintaining compliance with group policies and local regulations, and building senior‑level client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts, handle complaints and resolve complex issues to ensure exceptional service.
• Review complex tax computations, financial statements, tax returns and regulatory submissions for accuracy and timeliness.
• Implement new methodologies, standards, regulations and software enhancements to improve client service and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and the Associate Client Services Director on task allocation and resource planning.
• Oversee team performance, staff development, planning activities and information security compliance with IQ‑EQ Mauritius' ISMS framework.

Required profile

• Degree or relevant professional qualification.
• Extensive managerial experience in fund or corporate accounting services.
• Strong background in complex accounting and financial reporting.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS and preparation of financial statements.
• Proven experience managing senior‑level client relationships.
