Analyst – Cost of Sales Operations (Investigations)

About the role

We are looking for an Analyst to support Cost of Sales Operations by investigating scheme fee predictions. The role sits within the Payments Operations team at Checkout.com and works closely with senior analysts and managers to ensure accurate fee reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct end‑to‑end investigations of predicted scheme fees, delivering accurate results on schedule.
• Prepare data and take notes for working groups, helping identify root causes of fee discrepancies.
• Communicate task progress and timelines transparently to stakeholders.
• Own sub‑tasks within larger investigation projects and contribute to reporting metrics and dashboards.
• Compile data‑backed findings for leadership presentations.
• Provide operational feedback to shape the team’s roadmap and process improvements.
• Track regulatory updates and card‑scheme changes to assess business impact.
• Support a positive team culture by sharing knowledge and maintaining accountability.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in a financial, analytical, or high‑volume transaction environment.
• Strong interest in the payments industry and card‑scheme pricing.
• Logical thinking and problem‑solving curiosity.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with remote colleagues.
• Attention to detail for 100 % accuracy in financial reporting.
• Capacity to meet deadlines in a fast‑changing environment.
