Associate Executive - Centralised Billing

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group serving investment managers, asset owners and businesses with administration, compliance, governance, data and reporting, is hiring an Associate Executive for its centralised billing function in Port Louis. This is an entry-level role combining learning and delivering low-to-medium complexity payment processes and related activities (except reviews), which are checked by the Associate Manager and/or Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process payment requests from the Client Service team accurately and efficiently
• Manage intra-group transfers, refunds and recurring fees such as audit, legal and administration charges
• Process third-party payments including professional fees, loan repayments and associated interest
• Maintain company physical files and documents in order in compacters, safes and filing cabinets
• Protect information assets and comply with the Information Security Management System (ISMS) protocols

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or part-qualified status with ICSA or ACCA
• 1-2 years' relevant experience in billing, finance or a similar administrative role
• Fluent English and French (written and spoken)
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and ability to manage several priorities

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
