Cluster Senior Internal Controller

About the role

Constance Hospitality is seeking a Cluster Senior Internal Controller to oversee internal control and cost management across its two Rodrigues properties – C Rodrigues and Constance Tekoma. Based on Rodrigues, the role will work closely with property management to ensure robust financial controls, risk mitigation and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and ensure compliance with Constance internal control policies for procurement, stock movements, transfers and cost of sales, especially for Food & Beverage and Spa.
• Supervise the Cost Control and Storekeeping teams, coordinating accurate and timely reporting in collaboration with the Accounting Manager and Financial Controller.
• Control and record the flow of goods across receiving, storerooms, main kitchen and outlet areas, and participate in monthly, quarterly and year‑end inventories.
• Establish daily and monthly food and beverage costings, prepare profit‑and‑loss statements per outlet and analyse sales statistics to identify slow‑moving or high‑cost items.
• Prepare month‑end closing reports for F&B, minibar, spa and operating supplies, handling adjustments in coordination with the Regional Financial Controller.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in internal control or cost control within 3‑ to 5‑star hotels, including team management.
• Professional certifications such as ACCA (Level 2 or qualified), CIMA, CPA or CIA are preferred.
• Residency on Rodrigues (position open only to local residents).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of internal control frameworks and cost‑control methodologies.
• Proficiency in preparing and analysing financial statements, inventories and cost reports.
