About the role

Imara Trust Company is expanding its Client Administration team and seeks both Company Administrators and Senior Company Administrators. You will manage a portfolio of Global Business Companies, Authorized Companies, Trusts and Foundations, ensuring clean files, timely filings and high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer a portfolio from incorporation through winding‑up.
  • Prepare board packs, draft resolutions, minutes and maintain statutory registers.
  • Ensure timely statutory filings with the Financial Services Commission, Registrar of Companies and Mauritius Revenue Authority.
  • Maintain robust CDD/KYC records on directors, shareholders and ultimate beneficial owners in line with FSC and FIAMLA requirements.
  • Liaise with clients, banks, auditors and regulators, resolving technical queries promptly.
  • Coordinate with the accounting team on financial statements and tax computations.
  • Monitor client billing and follow up on receivables.
  • For senior roles: mentor junior administrators, manage complex relationships and act as escalation point for technical and compliance matters.

Required profile

  • A degree in Law, Management, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • ICSA/CGI qualification (qualified or part‑qualified) – an advantage.
  • Company Administrator: 2–3 years experience in the global business/management company sector.
  • Senior Company Administrator: 5+ years experience, or 2+ years in a senior administration role.
  • Sound working knowledge of the Companies Act 2001, the Financial Services Act, FSC requirements and AML/CFT obligations.
  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage a portfolio with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
