Compliance Officer & Money Laundering Reporting Officer

About the role

FinClub is seeking a senior‑level Compliance Officer who will also serve as the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). Reporting directly to the Board, you will safeguard the company’s regulatory standing while enabling rapid growth across its fintech ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the appointed Compliance Officer, MLRO and Data Protection Officer.
• Design, implement and continuously improve compliance, AML/CFT, governance and risk‑management frameworks.
• Ensure adherence to FSC rules, AML/CFT legislation, data‑privacy laws and all other regulatory obligations.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the FSC, FIU, BoM, DPO and other local and international regulators, handling licensing, approvals and statutory filings.
• Oversee customer due diligence, enhanced due diligence, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, financial‑crime investigations and suspicious‑transaction reporting.
• Provide legal and regulatory guidance to senior management, business units and the recovery team.
• Support the development and commercialisation of FinID, embedding compliance‑by‑design and advising enterprise clients on digital‑identity solutions.

Required profile

• Proactive leader with strong regulatory judgement and a pragmatic, business‑enabling mindset.
• Extensive experience in compliance, AML/CFT and financial‑crime controls within a fintech or financial‑services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with regulators and manage complex licensing processes.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to influence senior stakeholders.
