Corporate Finance Director – Executive Leadership

About the role

The organization is seeking a seasoned Corporate Finance Director to steer its financial services and investment activities in Mauritius. This executive position will lead strategic, operational and commercial functions, driving growth through deal origination, execution and capital allocation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to expand the business and enhance financial performance.
• Oversee private equity, investment and M&A activities, from sourcing to closing.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure operational excellence and robust governance.
• Manage capital allocation, financial reporting and stakeholder relationships.
• Drive deal origination, negotiation and execution of complex transactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in financial services, private equity, investment management or corporate finance.
• Proven track record of independently sourcing, negotiating and closing complex deals.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience in business growth and capital markets.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Commerce, Engineering or related field; advanced qualifications such as MBA, CFA, CA(SA) or ACCA are advantageous.
