Food & Beverage Server - Awase Pan-Asian Restaurant

About the role

Four Seasons Mauritius is hiring a Food & Beverage Server for Awase, one of the island's premier Pan-Asian restaurants known for its refined service and immersive dining experience. The server takes orders, serves food and beverages and attends to guests' needs while upholding high hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare mise-en-place, set up and clear tables, and maintain hygiene and order in the work area
• Take orders, serve food and beverages and describe menu items clearly and concisely
• Anticipate guest needs, suggest alternatives, record guest preferences and handle complaints promptly
• Post guest checks accurately, process payments and follow control procedures
• Requisition supplies, promote hotel services and products, and assist colleagues during busy periods
• Follow the hotel's code of conduct, grooming and hygiene standards, and attend scheduled training

Required profile

• 1-2 years of experience in 5-star hotels/resorts or reputable stand-alone restaurants
• Excellent English, math and psychometric abilities
• Aptitude and potential for career growth
• Technical education in Hospitality Management preferred
• Basic wine knowledge preferred
