Spa Therapist

About the role

The Spa Therapist delivers quality spa treatments, provides personalised guest care, promotes spa products and maintains high standards of hygiene, safety and service. The role also covers Spa Reception duties when the receptionist is absent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver efficient, personalised and high-quality spa treatments in line with established standards and procedures.
• Recommend treatments and give product recommendations and aftercare advice tailored to guests' needs.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and keep the Spa Manager informed of unusual matters, operational issues or planned activities.
• Take part in spa marketing initiatives and promotional activities.
• Monitor the Spa Shop, display and replenish products, minimise wastage and monitor stock levels.
• Prepare treatment rooms, the laboratory and relaxation areas, and clean, sanitise and reset them after each treatment.
• Maintain treatment equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Assume Spa Reception duties in the receptionist's absence, including daily invoices, consultations, reports and inventories, in line with Spa SOPs.

Required profile

• Form III or equivalent, with relevant professional training and experience.
• Recognised qualification in Aesthetics and Massage Therapy.
• At least 1 year of reception experience in a hotel spa environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English and French; a third language is an advantage.
