Guest Service Assistant

About the role

The Guest Service Assistant is responsible for looking after guests by organising reservations, arrivals, in‑house stays, special requests and departures. The role also supports all hotel services by providing accurate and up‑to‑date information to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage all materials needed for reservations, arrivals, stays, requests and departures.
• Organise guest reservations, arrivals, special requests and departures, ensuring smooth execution.
• Follow up on guest issues and handle customer requests promptly and effectively.
• Check registration cards, update guest history files and maintain records of preferences and special needs.
• Monitor guest comment cards, compile monthly reports and analyse feedback for management.
• Prepare and send compliment letters in response to guest feedback.
• Record significant guest events (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries) and inform relevant departments.
• Participate in wedding and honeymoon reservation processes and ensure room assignments are prepared in advance.
• Coordinate hotel visits, eductours and daily operations with housekeeping, front desk and villa teams.
• Comply with fire, health and safety regulations and report any equipment defects.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education plus relevant training or certificates.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Proven experience working in top‑tier hospitality environments; remote island experience is a plus.
