Junior IT Support

About the role

As a Junior IT Support Analyst at BDO, you will assist in implementing and maintaining IT support processes, handling routine service requests and incidents, and collaborating with other IT teams to resolve issues.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support and management of incidents and service requests according to established IT Support processes.
• Accurately record client and incident details and track troubleshooting progress.
• Resolve incidents using documented procedures and escalate when necessary.
• Identify potential issues proactively and act in line with support processes.
• Serve as an escalation point for assigned line‑of‑business services.
• Maintain high customer service standards and own user problems.
• Adhere to GDPR, Data Protection Act, and all risk & compliance procedures.
• Participate in incident management to minimise impact and restore services quickly.

Required profile

• Higher School Certificate (Computer Science at A‑Level) or equivalent.
• 1‑2 years of experience in IT Support.
• Professional IT certifications are a plus.
