Machine Down Support Officer

About the role

The Machine Down Support Officer will manage the complete lifecycle of machine‑down orders, from receiving a quotation request to ensuring delivery. The role requires 7‑day availability, occasional after‑hours work and rotation on weekends and public holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process quotation requests from direct customers at any time.
• Prepare formal quotations within defined turnaround times.
• Source and secure multimodal logistics solutions, offering alternatives when primary OEM stock is unavailable.
• Coordinate information flow between suppliers, service providers, internal teams and customers.
• Escalate off‑target situations to management for decision‑making.
• Prepare and manage transport documentation and ensure timely invoice processing.
• Maintain a minimum coverage of 45 hours per week according to the roster.

Required profile

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Sales or Purchasing.
• At least 2 years of experience in supply‑chain or parts‑supply operations.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French.
