SAP ABAP Consultant

About the role

TeamWork Mauritius is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join its SAP Business Solutions team in Moka. You will independently design and develop moderately complex SAP technical solutions, collaborating closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into robust code.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, and test ABAP solutions in ECC and S/4HANA environments.
• Write detailed technical specifications and conduct peer reviews.
• Develop and integrate ABAP objects, services, and dynamic components.
• Collaborate with functional teams to ensure efficient solution delivery.
• Optimize performance, debug, and troubleshoot issues.
• Apply Clean Core principles and support system migrations.
• Explore and adopt innovative SAP technologies such as Fiori/UI5 and RAP.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP development, including reports, enhancements, user exits, BADIs, and BAPIs.
• Experience with both ECC and S/4HANA ABAP environments.
• Solid knowledge of ABAP Object‑Oriented programming.
• Expertise in performance tuning, debugging, and documentation.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 and modern development models like RAP.
• Understanding of CDS Views, OData services, and integration frameworks (IDoc, RFC, BAPI).
• Familiarity with Clean Core principles and extensibility concepts.
• Experience in S/4HANA conversion or migration projects.
