Senior Accountant

About the role

Citco is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Global Subsidiary Governance Services team. The role involves delivering high‑quality financial information and ensuring compliance with local, international and industry‑specific accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and assure management, statutory and regulatory reports in a timely manner.
• Provide accurate financial data to support client decision‑making.
• Coordinate audit activities, liaise with internal and external auditors, tax consultants and regulators.
• Plan and organise team workload to meet agreed deadlines.
• Coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and healthy work environment.
• Participate in internal initiatives aimed at efficiency, process harmonisation and communication improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Dynamic, organised and motivated with the ability to set priorities under tight deadlines.
• Team‑player who can work under pressure and take initiative.
