Senior CDD Administrator, Corporate Client Service Support

About the role

The Senior CDD Administrator at Hawksford in Mauritius ensures that all Customer Due Diligence (CDD) files are completed in line with regulatory, legal and internal compliance requirements. The role supports the CDD framework by delivering high-quality client onboarding, maintaining strong AML/KYC standards and mitigating regulatory risk. It involves planning, coordinating and overseeing CDD activities so that client onboarding is completed efficiently and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialist expertise in CDD, KYC and client onboarding, assessing requirements and resolving complex onboarding matters
• Coordinate and oversee CDD activities and support the implementation and improvement of CDD policies, procedures and processes
• Mentor team members and share technical knowledge, helping less experienced colleagues
• Manage matters through to a successful conclusion, work under pressure and meet financial objectives set by management
• Deliver regular reports, trackers and dashboards to the Reporting Manager on task completion and key metrics
• Assist team members with complex tasks, guide them on pending matters and liaise with other teams and departments
• Record work hours accurately in the time-tracking system and adhere to SLAs
• Foster a culture of compliance, accountability and continuous improvement

Required profile

• Extensive experience in CDD, AML and Beneficial Ownership (BO) requirements, and in onboarding companies, trusts, partnerships and funds
• Minimum 3 years' experience
• Strong relationship management skills and a track record across different service lines
• Well organised, detail-oriented, adaptable and able to work under pressure
• Comfortable escalating concerns and giving an independent view
