Senior Manager – Corporate & Funds

About the role

Praxis is seeking a Senior Manager to lead its Corporate & Funds business in Mauritius. The role will own the end‑to‑end administration of close‑ended funds across real estate, private equity, private credit and other alternative asset classes, while ensuring compliance and supporting scalable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day administration of funds from launch through capital raising, investment, distribution and wind‑down.
• Oversee fund accounting, including general ledger review, journal entries, reconciliations, capital account maintenance and NAV/valuation reporting.
• Manage investor operations such as capital calls, drawdowns, distributions, transfers and onboarding.
• Review and approve quarterly, semi‑annual and annual reporting packages for clients, boards and investors.
• Coordinate year‑end audits and tax reporting deliverables.
• Act as the registered director of Praxis in Mauritius and manage overall office administration.
• Collaborate with senior management, compliance and other corporate & funds teams to ensure regulatory compliance and support growth ambitions.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in fund administration and corporate governance.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Strong understanding of alternative asset classes and related regulatory frameworks.
• Willingness to act as resident director and take responsibility for office operations.
