About the role

Dayforce is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer to join its Workforce Management team and help build the next generation of Human Capital Management solutions. You will work on a cloud‑based platform that drives efficiency, productivity and compliance for global workforces.

Key responsibilities

Participate in the full software lifecycle – design, prototyping, development, testing, deployment and support.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, implementation partners and other engineers to deliver new functionality.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and help improve engineering practices.

Required profile

Passionate technology enthusiast with a strong focus on software quality and performance.
Excellent communicator who can work independently and as part of an agile team.
Self‑starter able to analyse business needs and propose optimal technical solutions.

Required skills

Solid C#/.NET experience (5+ years) including async/await, LINQ and modern .NET (6/7/8).
Front‑end expertise with React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and RESTful APIs.
Strong SQL Server skills, Docker containerisation and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
Testing proficiency (xUnit/NUnit, Jest, Playwright/Cypress) and security awareness (OWASP, OAuth2/OIDC).
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and AI‑assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Codeium, etc.).
