Spa Receptionist

About the role

Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on the south-eastern coast of Mauritius, is looking for a Spa Receptionist. The receptionist is responsible for guests' first impression of the spa, handling their reservations and related recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with guests on treatment bookings and manage all booking-related telephone calls
• Use Spa software to deliver flawless service and handle billing professionally
• Serve welcome drinks and recommend retail products linked to treatments, including follow-up on therapist product recommendations
• Keep a daily log of visits and compile a client history after each guest leaves
• Handle guest complaints and incidents calmly and professionally, and promote other resort activities
• Follow the Spa SOPs and checklists, keep the work area clean, and take part in management meetings and trainings
• Greet guests warmly, answer calls within three rings, and maintain a neat appearance according to grooming standards

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional training or certificates in the field are a plus
• At least 1 year of experience in the hotel industry; proven experience in top luxury resorts is a plus
• Fluency in English and another language, written and spoken; knowledge of a third language is a plus
