Sports Sales Representative

About the role

Emcar Sports is seeking a dynamic and passionate Sales Representative to join the team at its Black River shop. You will be the front‑line ambassador for our sports equipment range, delivering excellent service to both existing and potential customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales targets on a regular basis.
• Provide high‑quality service to customers, answering queries and offering product advice.
• Maintain proper product display, price tagging and labeling.
• Ensure sufficient stock on the shop floor and replenish weekly or as needed.
• Learn the technical aspects of our sports products.
• Perform administrative tasks linked to the role.
• Carry out any ad‑hoc duties assigned by the Shop Supervisor or BU Manager.

Required profile

• HSC holder and/or Certificate in Sales and Marketing.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Customer‑focused with a pleasant, outgoing personality.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French.
• Good knowledge of sports equipment and accessories is an advantage.
• Willingness to work odd hours when required.
• Computer literate – proficient with Microsoft Office and SAP Business One.
• Clean Certificate of Character.
• Residence in the vicinity of Black River or the Western region.
