Waiter – Beachfront Boutique Hotel

About the role

Join the hospitality team at Constance Sakoa Boutik, an intimate beachfront boutique hotel in northern Mauritius. As a Waiter you will create warm, memorable experiences for guests while working in a stunning ocean‑view setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, escort them to tables and present menus.
• Explain menu items, daily specials and beverage options.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve meals and drinks promptly, adhering to service standards.
• Check guest satisfaction during the meal and respond to requests.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the dining area.
• Process bills and handle payments accurately.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and health‑safety regulations.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including set‑up and cleaning.
• Report any guest complaints, incidents or equipment issues to the supervisor.
• Promote additional items through suggestive selling when appropriate.

Required profile

• Certificate or diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service or related field (advantageous).
• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and guest‑focused attitude.
