Analyst I – Fraud & Disputes Monitoring

About the role

Join Checkout.com’s Risk Monitoring Team as an Analyst I, focusing on fraud and dispute cases. You will support the risk assessment of a global portfolio of e‑commerce merchants by reviewing alerts, conducting investigations, and communicating findings.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain a deep understanding of acquiring risks and card‑scheme rules.
• Perform background checks on merchants using internal monitoring tools and external resources.
• Identify risky merchant behaviours, propose mitigations, and apply a risk‑based approach.
• Prepare and deliver reports on risk concerns to relevant stakeholders.
• Analyse suspected fraudulent transactions and document investigations in the case‑management system.
• Suggest process and infrastructure improvements to enhance risk monitoring operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk, Management, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Economics or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar risk or fraud monitoring role.
• Strong focus on structured processes and efficiency.
• Excellent collaborative and communication abilities across departments.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
