Officer - Client Onboarding

About the role

The Client Onboarding Officer will support the end‑to‑end onboarding and off‑boarding of corporate and private clients, ensuring compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements. You will act as a key liaison between clients, senior colleagues and internal teams to deliver a seamless experience.

Key responsibilities

• Review due‑diligence documents and coordinate with clients to collect required information.
• Assist clients in completing forms, questionnaires and business plans, escalating to senior staff when needed.
• Prepare and circulate Client Engagement Agreements and service agreements for onboarding.
• Manage client creation, billing verification and invoice processing.
• Ensure CERs are reviewed, posted correctly and that all signatures are obtained.
• Maintain complete data records in iManage and oversee hand‑over checklists.
• Prepare physical files for hand‑over meetings and ensure accurate documentation.
• Complete applications on the registrar of companies platform and financial services platform, securing manager approval before submission.
• Meet defined timelines for off‑boarding, preparing accurate winding‑up packs and CC applications.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow compliance procedures.
• Proactive communication skills for client interaction and internal coordination.
• Ability to work under defined timelines and manage multiple tasks.
