Senior Financial Accountant – Duty Cash Supervisor

About the role
The Senior Financial Accountant ensures timely, accurate financial reporting in line with DHL policies, supervises the General Ledger team, and maintains SOPs within a shared service centre environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and verify monthly financial packages including balance sheet, income statement and business revenue summary.
- Supervise the General Ledger team to meet service level agreements and corporate accounting standards.
- Manage SOPs, coach RTR staff and drive process improvements.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, monitor control accounts and resolve queries from entities.
- Collaborate with countries, CSI and other DHL business units for cross‑company coordination.
Required profile
- ACCCA Level 2 or a degree in Finance/Accounting.
- Strong leadership and people‑management experience.
- In‑depth knowledge of IFRS and controlling principles.
- Fluent English; French or Portuguese an asset.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with SUN and SAP systems.
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
