Associate Manager - Investor Services

About the role

IQ-EQ, a global investor services group with expertise in private markets, is looking for an Associate Manager within its Investor Services team in Port Louis. You will lead and develop a team while acting as a trusted partner to clients, investors and stakeholders, combining technical expertise with people leadership to deliver high-quality investor servicing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day investor services operations, reviewing the work of Investor Services Officers so that deliverables meet quality, compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with clients and investors, giving guidance and resolving issues before they become complaints.
• Monitor investor transactions such as subscriptions, redemptions, transfers, trade settlements and capital calls, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Oversee FATCA/CRS reporting, AM/CFT reviews, CDD requirements, investor onboarding and compliance approvals for complex structures such as Omnibus Accounts, PEPs and REPs.
• Coach and develop team members, support performance reviews, drive process improvements and meet internal, client and Group reporting deadlines.

Required profile

• Degree or full qualification as ACCA or ICSA, with a strong foundation in investor services, fund administration or financial services.
• Relevant experience, including exposure to investor servicing, transfer agency or fund administration.
• Strong understanding of FSC regulations on open-ended and closed-ended fund structures.
• People-focused leader who enjoys coaching and building a collaborative, high-performing team.

Required skills

• Excellent English communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microgen.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
