About the role
The brand house is looking for a Category Specialist for Home Appliances in Terre Rouge. You will help source and purchase white goods, small domestic appliances and home electronics at competitive prices and on time, managing a specific category or categories and overseeing its awareness, performance and follow-up.
Key responsibilities
- Manage stock responsibly, ensuring replenishment, transfers and forecasting are systematic
- Analyse, grow and monitor the performance of your category
- Monitor open orders and ageing stock
- Nurture relationships with current suppliers
- Prepare weekly, sales and open orders reports
- Analyse and build the line-up on pricing and positioning, and propose improvements
- Assist with procurement administration such as credit notes and purchase orders
- Prepare promotional campaigns for retail and B2B and validate them with the Procurement Manager
- Carry out regular market visits and competitor analysis
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 2 years of experience in a related field
- Excellent negotiation skills
Required skills
- Excellent knowledge of Excel, especially VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Fully computer literate
