Category Specialist - Home Appliances

About the role

The brand house is looking for a Category Specialist for Home Appliances in Terre Rouge. You will help source and purchase white goods, small domestic appliances and home electronics at competitive prices and on time, managing a specific category or categories and overseeing its awareness, performance and follow-up.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock responsibly, ensuring replenishment, transfers and forecasting are systematic
• Analyse, grow and monitor the performance of your category
• Monitor open orders and ageing stock
• Nurture relationships with current suppliers
• Prepare weekly, sales and open orders reports
• Analyse and build the line-up on pricing and positioning, and propose improvements
• Assist with procurement administration such as credit notes and purchase orders
• Prepare promotional campaigns for retail and B2B and validate them with the Procurement Manager
• Carry out regular market visits and competitor analysis

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least 2 years of experience in a related field
• Excellent negotiation skills

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of Excel, especially VLOOKUP and pivot tables
• Fully computer literate
