Client Accountant

About the role

The Client Accountant will manage the preparation of accounts, financial statements and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients. The role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to respond promptly to client inquiries while supporting audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounts, financial statements and tax returns for a portfolio of clients.
• Attend to client needs and respond to queries in a timely manner.
• Assist in audit work and compile required financial information.
• Provide regular status updates to supervisors, managers and partners.

Required profile

• University degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Partial completion of ACCA qualification (or similar).
• Minimum two years of experience in accounting and account preparation.
• Experience in auditing is an advantage.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with accounting software.
