Finance Team Leader – Global Accounting

About the role

The Finance Team Leader will join Ocorian’s Global Accounting team in Mauritius, reporting to the Finance Director. The role oversees day‑to‑day accounting activities for a designated region, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain vendor records, performing periodic reviews.
• Record transactions promptly and meet the company’s financial obligations.
• Drive the month‑end close process, providing analysis to support results.
• Prepare and review management accounts with accurate commentary.
• Complete balance‑sheet reconciliations for all entities on time.
• Assemble country packs and monthly business reviews for Country Heads.
• Provide technical accounting advice and ensure compliance with standards and policies.
• Identify, propose and implement process improvements and automation.
• Support ad‑hoc projects, financial control, tax and treasury activities.
