French‑Speaking Finance Manager – Africa

About the role

We are seeking a French‑speaking Finance Manager to lead the finance function for our operations across French‑speaking Africa. Reporting to the CEO and working closely with the Group CFO and London‑based Controllers, you will shape financial strategy, ensure robust controls and deliver accurate results in a fast‑growing gaming consultancy.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial and operational strategies, budgets and cash‑flow plans.
• Lead the finance department, overseeing accounting, legal, tax and treasury activities.
• Partner with senior management to influence key business decisions and tactical initiatives.
• Implement month‑end closing processes and financial reporting systems.
• Design and monitor control mechanisms to safeguard assets and prevent fraud.
• Manage profit collection, reporting and reconciliation on a daily basis.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or a degree in Accounting/Finance.
• 3‑5 years of experience managing a finance team in a fast‑paced, complex environment.
• Proven experience in emerging markets, preferably within the gaming or retail sector.
• Fluent written and spoken French with solid knowledge of French accounting standards.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas, pivot tables).
• Proficiency with Tally or Sage accounting software (including data import).
