Fund Services Accounting Manager

About the role

As a Fund Accounting Manager you will lead a team delivering fund accounting services for Private Equity and Real Estate clients, building strong client relationships and ensuring high‑quality reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of a portfolio of Private Equity and Real Estate clients, delivering accurate fund accounting, financial statements, NAV calculations, capital calls and distributions.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, auditors and stakeholders, managing expectations and resolving issues.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of accounting professionals, overseeing workloads, reviewing deliverables and fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Ensure quality and compliance of accounting records, reconciliations, tax filings and statutory reporting.
• Drive operational excellence through planning, resource management, process improvement and automation.
• Monitor client profitability, billing and service delivery metrics to meet commercial objectives.
• Identify and manage risks, maintaining strong controls and regulatory compliance.
• Support business growth by strengthening client relationships and identifying additional service opportunities.

Required profile

• Fully qualified ACCA or ACA (post‑graduate qualifications advantageous).
• Minimum 7 years post‑qualification experience in fund accounting, audit or financial services, preferably in a global environment.
• Strong expertise in Private Equity and Real Estate fund accounting, including NAV production, waterfall calculations and IFRS reporting.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing accounting teams.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with eFront.
• Hands‑on experience with Paxus.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Familiarity with Value Financials (beneficial).
