Relationship Manager

About the role

The Business Banking SBU is seeking a Relationship Manager to grow its Mid‑Market segment. You will develop a portfolio of medium‑size corporate clients, strengthen long‑term relationships, and enhance the brand value of the Business Banking division while delivering high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients to understand evolving needs.
• Acquire new clients to increase the segment’s market share.
• Provide prompt, personalised service to the portfolio of mid‑market customers.
• Generate and maintain a robust leads pipeline to drive business growth.
• Manage credit portfolio performance in line with bank policies to minimise financial risk.
• Collaborate with the Risk team on financing proposals for timely assessment.
• Represent the bank at networking events and public forums to capture opportunities.
• Assist in preparing the annual strategic plan, budget and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal standards.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Management or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in relationship management with medium‑sized businesses or in credit analysis/structured finance for large corporate clients.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and credit risk assessment.
• Familiarity with banking regulatory frameworks, lending procedures, and AML/fraud prevention policies.
