Senior Accountant, Corporate Accounting

About the role

We are a leading Investor Services group seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee corporate accounting deliverables. The role focuses on reviewing and validating financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting complex client deadlines.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate complex client deadlines and ensure timely delivery of accounting, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Review bookkeeping, reconciliations, working schedules, tax and VAT computations, and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage audit queries, liaise with auditors, track and resolve review points, and complete required checklists.
• Independently resolve complex technical accounting matters and monitor regulatory reporting deadlines.
• Identify and propose process‑improvement initiatives to enhance client service and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in corporate accounting and financial statement preparation.
• Strong knowledge of local statutory requirements and group reporting standards.
• Proven ability to assess complex accounting transactions and provide guidance to preparers.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy, quality, and regulatory compliance.
