Stock Control Trainee

About the role

The Stock Control Trainee will join the Sales & Distribution (S&D) team for a one‑year traineeship. The role focuses on supporting stock management processes to protect the company’s inventory from avoidable losses.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reconciling White Oil, Black Oil, LPG bulk, additives and other product inventories on a regular basis.
• Raise deals and purchase orders in the system for oil and LPG tanker transfers according to ordered quantities.
• Issue receipts for oil and LPG tanker deliveries and ensure accurate system entries.
• Maintain positive stock balances for all products in the system by close of business each day.
• Process lubricant receipts in the inventory system.

Required profile

• Degree holder in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
